Spreading like Wildfire.
The line fire has severely impacted our mountain communities in California, around Big Bear, Running Springs, and Lake Arrowhead. As of the latest reports, the fire has burned over 38,000 acres and destroyed more than 200 homes. Thousands of residents have been evacuated from their homes, with many seeking temporary shelter in nearby towns or emergency facilities. Roughly 2,100 personnel were working to combat the fire, which threatened 65,000 structures.
The rapid spread of the fire, driven by high winds and dry conditions, has caused significant damage to infrastructure and forestry. In addition to the immediate threat to homes and lives, the fire has disrupted local economies and strained our community resources.
